  • Springfield sports fans are close to the stadiums and venues of several professional sports teams. The Washington Redskins, the Washington Wizards, the Washington Capitals, the Washington Nationals and DC United all play close to Springfield, Virginia.
  • The ToughNickel.com says that Springfield is one of the best communities in Northern VA to raise a family and that is accurate by my estimation.
  • Living in Springfield means that you'll have much closer access to places like Fountainhead Regional Park or Pohick Bay Regional Park than residents in say Cherrydale or Old Town.
