When you're going to acquire a house, can you get the residence that you deserve but—at the same time—treat the seller as you would want to be treated?
I've always practiced the Golden Rule in my personal life, but when I became a Realtor, I also pledged to apply the Golden Rule to all my business dealings.
But what does that mean when you're talking about buying real estate in Alexandria? It doesn't mean that you have to be a chump. It doesn't mean that you're expected to pay more than a pied-a-terre like 4347 Loyola Ave is worth.
But it does mean that:
We never would consider putting offers on more than one property at the same time. (Assuming the shopper can only afford to buy one property.)We're not interested in wasting the seller's time or the listing agent's time.
