Why Are Sellers Confident About Selling Their Homes In Arlington?

Selling a home in Arlington is not easy, in fact, it is often the largest financial transaction that you can ever make in life. However, that does not mean homeowners want to devote a lot of time to it.

Huntington A recent survey of 1000 homeowners conducted by SOLD.com shows that more than half—58%—of homeowners who recently sold a home in Arlington spent less than three hours researching the method and professional they chose to sell their home. In a separate survey from the National Association of REALTORS®,  75% of recent sellers hired the first real estate professional they contracted to sell their home in Arlington. The main reason home sellers are spending little time researching is that they feel confident. According to the SOLD.com survey, ninety-four percent of homeowners feel confident about how to sell their home (with men more at 73% versus 49% of women). Still, more than half of the homeowners agreed that they were unfamiliar with any other selling option apart from a traditional real estate agent or for sale by the owner. Most homeowners in Arlington don't know other alternatives like iBuyer firms, discount and flat-fee brokers, and online technology platforms. The survey went on to show that the women tend to rely more on professional resources to sell their home in Arlington while the men were more inclined to speak with family and friends or do online research. Many of the consumers also expressed some concerns over the emotional sides of selling a home in Arlington. Twenty-seven percent said they had stress and anxiety about moving, while 21% said they were concerned about the financial implications of a move. The financial issues that mostly weighted on homeowners included 28% who said they were concerned about coordinating the timing of selling and buying a home in Arlington and 27% who were also concerned about the tax implications associated with the sale.
