Montgomery Park is a 2-acre square block park located at 901 N. Royal Street in Old Town Alexandria. The park is currently under the control of the Old Town North Community Association. The park has undergone several improvement projects as the Association aims to create a park that can be enjoyed by the entire public.
Montgomery Park now features four (4) tennis courts which is popularly used for frequent tennis meetup groups and lessons throughout the week. The playground is a favorite for kids of all ages. A fenced dog run is included and it is a favorite for all dog lovers who are able to take their dogs for a run without interfering with other activities on the park. Other amenities at the park include gazebos, benches, picnic tables and water fountains. The park is open to the public all year round.
