However, today's post isn't about this real estate in Woodmont. As interesting as that property is, what I really want to write about is the City of Arlington. I can think of quite some features to like Arlington. Here are collected of those aspects.
- Arlington has numerous interesting museums and is in very close proximity to our nation's capital's collection of world renown attractions and museums. Just a few of these include the Smithsonian Institution, the Air & Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, Library of Congress and many many more.
- The George Washington Parkway is a historic and pleasant drive from Mount Vernon to Mclean VA. There are several interesting overlooks above the Potomac looking toward Georgetown in Washington DC.
- Upton Hill Regional Park is a wooded spot with several other attractions. Ocean Dunes Waterpark, which has an enormous pool, a giant slide, and more is at Upton Hill. Upton Hill also has batting cages and putt-putt golf.
- Arlington is pet-friendly and has a number of dog-parks including Benjamin Banneker Park, Shirlington Park, Fort Ethan Park, Glen Carlyn Park and more.
