Enjoy Halloween’s Spirit At BOO-stravaganza At Frying Pan Park

Little ghosts and goblins of ages 3- to 8-years-old are invited to dress up in their favorite costumes and visit Kidwell Farm on October 25, 2019. This farm is in Frying Pan Farm Park’s outdoor farm area. They will get a chance to enjoy fall-inspired fun, games, and wagon rides. They can also trick-or-treat with their favorite farm animals and enjoy a treat to take for the ride home. Frying Pan Farm Park is part of a historical community dating back to the early 1700s. Located in the Floris community of Herndon, VA, the area was known as Frying Pan from 1726 to 1892. This working farm shows mid-century farm life, from the 1920s to the 1950s, when farming technology became available, including the tractor, dairy milking machines, mechanical bailers, and more. Families are invited at the Frying Pan Farm Park to enjoy an afternoon filled with farm-inspired fun. Visit the animals and farming exhibits, and be sure to bring a picnic and enjoy the playground, carousel, tractor rides, nature trails, and more. To accommodate more families, there are two times available: 6:30 and 7:30 pm. Frying Pan Farm Park also boasts an Equestrian Center, walking trails, and a general store, as well as classes, camps, and opportunities open to the community. Admission to the farm and parking is free, with the exception of special seasonal events and festivals.
