Join Needle Felted Wool Workshop And Farm Skills – Wool Crafting At Frying Pan Farm Park

Frying Pan Farm Park is located at 2709 West Ox Rd., Herndon, VA. There will be held two events relating to farm skills at Frying Pan Farm Park on November 5, 2019. One event is named Needle Felted Wool Workshop while the other is Farm Skills - Wool Crafting. Sheep are important animals to livestock farmers as they can provide milk, meat, and fiber. Learn to wash fleece by hand and discover how to prepare wool for spinning by using a drum carder. Then, make a hand-spun wool bracelet or felted wool flower. The Farm Skills - Wool Crafting program at Frying Pan Farm Park runs from 10 to 11:15 a.m., and the cost is $8. One adult must accompany each registered child in the program. Wool fiber is an important farm product that can be used in many ways. Needle felting is a way of shaping wool into three-dimensional art. Learn needle felting basics and make a project to take home. The Needle Felted Wool Workshop program at Frying Pan Farm Park runs from 1 to 3 p.m. One registered adult must accompany each registered child in the program.
