Woodstock Park is a small grassy area located at 2049 N Woodstock St, in the Waverly Hills neighborhood of Arlington.
The playground at Woodstock Park
The park is tucked away behind the Lee Heights Shopping Center at the intersection of Woodstock St and 20th Rd. You can also access it at the other end from Vermont St and 20th Rd. I dropped by one afternoon with my five-year-old daughter and she had a great time playing at the playground.
The Playground at Woodstock Park has two separate play areas; one for younger kids below five years and the other for older kids above five. It features a big play structure with some unique elements to walk on: a swaying bridge, wobbly plank bridge, and a chain-link cargo net. There are also some monkey bars which my kid loved and some slides. There's also smaller for the younger crowd, two regular swings, and two baby swings.
Apart from the playground, Woodstock also features a basketball court, a water fountain, a paved walking/biking trail, and lots of benches for parents and caregivers to relax while watching the kids. There's plenty of parking but no bathrooms.
