Fittest City in America". And even during this period of staying at home and maintaining social distancing, fitness centers in Arlington are coming up with new and innovative ways to connect with their clients and offer fitness to the public. Here are a few that you can check out.
- Synetic Virtual Fitness (12:00 pm to 1:00 pm)--In partnership with Crystal City BID, Synetic Theater is offering live online fitness classes for the public taught by trained Company members. The classes are Pay-What-You-Can and have a different focus each week. Sign up now and they'll send you an email with a link to the live session an hour before the workout begins.
- Bash Boxing-- Known for group boxing and kickboxing classes, this boxing studio with locations in Rosslyn and Ballston, is offering free live classes throughout the week on its Instagram page for anyone looking to try shadowboxing(and maybe let out some pent-up aggression).
- Sun & Moon Yoga Studio--Located along Lee Highway, the Sun & Moon Yoga Studio has moved all its classes to the online Zoom platform. The daily live stream offers a free 30-minute practice Monday through Friday at 10 am, plus Sunday specials.
- Midweek Meditation--Mind Your Body Oasis is giving you a chance to take a break from all the coronavirus craziness and relax your mind with a free 30-minute guided meditation.
