Alexandria Sheriff’s Office Bonds With Kids Through Coloring

The Alexandria Sheriff's Office has created a new way to bond with the kids of Alexandria through coloring. On May 19 the Office will be starting a new program called "Coloring with Our Community'. This program will be done via Facebook video every other Tuesday and kids will learn more about the Sheriff's Office as well as safety and civics while coloring with members of the Office. Residents can sign up their kids for the program and deputies will be distributing free coloring books on May 18th. The coloring books will feature fun and educational activities including puzzles and word games. Each coloring book will be themed specific. In addition to coloring books kids will be given two bonus coloring books and activity books on addition and subtraction. Parents are encouraged to sign their kids up for this great program.
