VRE will also replace stairs, replace the existing canopy roof and upgrade lighting and communication systems. The project timeline calls for construction to be finished in late March 2022."
A virtual meeting is planned to discuss planned improvements at the Rolling Road Virginia Railway Express station in Burke. The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will host the meeting on Thursday, June 10 at 7 p.m. The transportation department will discuss its Rolling Road VRE Parking Lot Expansion project. A VRE representative will also be on hand to discuss the Rolling Road platform extension.
