Franconia is a community in Southern Fairfax County located just outside the Beltway not far from Alexandria VA. (Many homes here have an Alexandria postal address.) Franconia is located in the Lee and Springfield Districts of Fairfax County will plenty of access to great schools, libraries and parks. There are 3 Metro stations close to Franconia: the Franconia/Springfield Metro, the Van Dorn Metro and the Huntington Metro. Franconia has a variety of garden-style condos, townhouses and single-family detached homes.
