I'm not writing to talk about 6247 Garretson St or me. This post isn't about this luxury colonial in 22015. Instead, I want to talk about Burke Virginia. From the top of my head:
We look forward to the Burke Center Festival. It's a a huge event with arts & crafts, karaoke, emergency preparedness displays, live bands, dance and other entertainment. There are of course food vendors, but also interactive puppet and wildlife shows, amusement rides, pony rides, hypnotist show. There is a basketball toss, Midway-style games, giveaways and drawings, not to mention an after-hours wine garden. Fun for all!
Burke Lake Park has paths around the lake. Pohick Stream Valley Trail is another great option for getting some exercise. Mason Neck Park and Fountain Head Regional Park are also close by.
Golfers enjoy several options if they live in Burke. Most obvious of these choices is Burke Lake Golf Course.
