I'm a Realtor who works everyday in and around 22204 in Arlington County and I like this town.
812 Oak St S, Arlington VA 22204 || $460,000
However, this blog post isn't about this mid 20th-century 2-bedroom home in Lt J Bk 2 Foxcroft Hts. It's about a few of the reasons I love about Arlington. There's more to love about Arlington than I can fit in one post. But some of what I love about Arlington is:
- Despite being an urban county, Arlington has set aside a number of pleasant green spaces for residents to enjoy. I have enjoyed walks at Theodore Roosevelt Island, Potomac Overlook Park, and Bon Air Park, but those are just a few of the many parks to enjoy.
- Arlington has numerous interesting museums and is in very close proximity to capitals collection of world renown attractions and museums. Just a few of these include the Smithsonian Institution, the Air & Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, Library of Congress and many many more.
- Arlington has a full calendar of events, festivals and activities. There are art festivals, wine festivals, music festivals, crafts festivals and more.
- Arlington County has some of the best public schools in the national capital region, and in the country. Both Long Branch Elementary School and Jefferson Middle School are well regarded.
