Restaurants That You Should Not Miss In Vienna

Vienna is a town in Fairfax County which serves some of the best food in the area. They have diversity among various food backgrounds including cafes, Italian, steakhouse, pizza, sushi, Indian, Japanese, Austrian, and many more to choose from. Given below are some of my favourite restaurants in Vienna.

Planka Grill

Planka Grill is a Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant located at 110 Lawyers Rd NWVienna. I had listened a lot about the restaurant, so one day I decided to visit it and believe it was worth the try. Just to name a few items from their menu, they have Falafel Fritters, Spanakopites, Tyrokafteri dip, Shrimp Souvlaki, Roasted Veggie Wrap, Lamb Kapama, and quite a few other items to choose from. If you have never had Greek food before, Planka Grill is a good choice for your first time.

The Pure Pasty Co.

The Pure Pasty Co. is a British restaurant located at 128C Church St NW, Vienna. They offer different types of pasties, pies & sausage rolls, cocktail goodies, and dessert specials. If you are a meat lover like me and far from being a vegetarian, then The Pure Pasty Co. could be your new favorite place to eat lunch.

Al Nakheel Café

Part grocery, part cafe, Al Nakheel Café is located at 340 Maple Ave. W., Vienna. The restaurant has at least two must-trys for fans of Lebanese fare. My favorite is the baba ghanoush with a smoky finish that sets the bar in the area. There is also a satisfying mash-up of chicken shawarma, hummus, and French fries tucked into a pita which you must try.

Café Nemooneh

Café Nemooneh is a chic new Persian cafe with burnt-orange walls and a dizzying array of Middle Eastern sweets. It is located at 525 Maple Ave. W., Vienna. The best served here are the custard-filled Danish and two kinds of baklava. My favorite is their house-made gelato in flavors such as chocolate-bourbon and Persian-style saffron-pistachio.
