Why Brookvalley Park In Alexandria?

The Brookvalley Park which is located at 5599 Holmes Run Parkway in Alexandria is a 22 acre regional park which features the Bicentennial Tree, the oldest tree in Alexandria. The park is a natural habitat to many species of animals and its a great area for dog owners to bring their dogs for playtime and exercise. Brookvalley Park also features garden plots, playground area, picnic areas and walking/bicycle trail. Garden plots can be rented from the 4-H Club which falls under the Department of Recreational, Parks and Cultural Activities. The Holmes Run Trail runs north through the park while All Veterans Park is located southwest with Tarleton Park located southeast of the park. Brookvalley Park is the perfect area for everyone as it features many areas of interest for all to enjoy.
