Seminary Ridge is a suburban community located in West End Alexandria. The community was developed in the early 1970s and it comprises of spacious, luxurious single family detached homes. The community is the first of its kind in Alexandria to offer the coveted two car garage. Seminary Ridge rose to prominence in 1818 with the construction of the Virginia Theological Seminary, an 80 acre campus which is open to the public.
