Langley Oaks is a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood located immediately west of Langley High School, north of Georgetown Pike and south of the George Washington Parkway in McLean, Virginia. It is almost equidistant from the I-495 Beltway to the west and the CIA to the east. The Potomac River is two thousand feet to the north through nicely-wooded parkland belonging to Fairfax County.

Virtually all of its three hundred and ten single-family homes were built on half-acre lots between 1975 and 1985. Langley Oaks is home to many government officials including high-ranking politicians and diplomats. It has been a neighborhood of choice of McLean residents since the mid-1970s.
Residents appreciate how convenient the location is being situated inside the I-495 Beltway and just a couple of lights from DC. It is equally distant to the Dulles International Airport and Washington Reagan located off of George Washington Parkway. Langley is served by Spring Hill Elementary School, Cooper Middle School, and Langley High School.
Neighbors enjoy participating in and watching the annual 4th of July parade held in the community. Another parade of costumes is held to celebrate Halloween in October. One of the benefits of living in Langley Oaks is the proximity and easy access to renowned Langley High School. Langley Oaks has an active Home Owner's Association which oversees the maintenance of the community property and events.
