The Alexandria Community Nutcracker is in its 11th year as it continues its tradition of performing ballet with a twist of tap, jazz, gymnastics, irish dance and hip hop. This year the Nutcracker will be partnering the West Potomac Dance Academy to perform the original version of the Nutcracker, a holiday classic.
The Nutcracker will be performed at the West Potomac High School from December 4-7 with performances from more than 250 dancers and musicians ranging from ages 3-18. The performances will also feature selections from the West Potomac High School orchestra and Beyond the Page Theatre Company of West Potomac High School. The event is perfect for families to enjoy during the holiday season.
