Alexandria Resident Stephanie Lasure has achieved a feat that no one have ever done. The ultra-runner has explored the streets of Alexandria on foot between November 2018 and September 2019. Stephanie has completed 12 marathons and 18 ultra-marathons.Lasure has ran every single street logging a total 330 miles. The runner was inspired by Rickey Gates, a fellow runner on Instagram who ran every street in San Francisco. The journey of the runner officially began in November 2018 where she used her phone for navigation but quickly switched to small cut outs of a city zoning map. After each run she traced the road she completed in different crayon colors. In November 2019, the city awarded Stephanie with a proclamation as a recognition of her efforts.
