The park is located at 1301 S George Mason Dr in Arlington, Virginia. I have driven by Doctor's Run Park several times but one Saturday I decided to stop and check it out.
The playground is well-equipped with one main play structure which features various ways of climbing, four slides, a fireman's pole, and some stepping stones. There are also two baby/bucket swings, one regular, and one accessible swing, and a sandlot. There are tons of trees covering the area making it a good choice on hot summer days.
Other than the playground, there are quite a few picnic tables and charcoal grills for a family barbecue, a volleyball court with a cinder surface, and a paved trail.
