Bishop Ireton High School has opened its new academic center on Monday February 3 2020. The new 40,000 square foot building is adjacent to the school's building at 201 Cambridge Road in Alexandria. The new academic center comprises of a Technology Wing which occupies three stories plus a basement. The new wing houses new science classrooms and STEM Laboratories, a new Media Center, a library and a new cafeteria. There is also an auxiliary gym with training facilities. The existing high school was also modified with renovations been done to the North Gym Wing with the construction of a new main office and reconfiguration of the front parking lot and entrance.
The project was made possible with assistance from parents, staff, alumni and the Diocesan community.
