Ono Brewing Company is teaming up with River-Sea Chocolate Factory once again for a Valentine's Day week option for craft beer and craft chocolate lovers. They are offering limited tickets to six different brewery and chocolate factory tours Thursday, February 13 - Saturday, February 15. It's a great date night idea or a great idea for fun with friends.
As per www.fxva.com, "Tour spots are limited due to space availability in the chocolate factory so reserve your spot today. There are two tour options each day. The 1.75 hr tour ($14 per person) includes 30-minute educational tours at both Ono Brewing Company and River-Sea Chocolate Factory. At River-Sea Chocolate Factory, attendees will see how chocolate is made from the bean to the bar. River-Sea will explain the entire process from farm to mouth while exploring the factors that contribute to taste and the social and environmental impacts of bean trade. Tour will include samples of chocolate made from cacao from multiple origins around the world.
At Ono Brewing, participants will have a chance to explore the self-serve beer wall, open up a tab if you choose, and fill a beer glass to take behind the scenes to learn about the process of brewing beer in the area's most high-tech brewery. Enjoy a sample of Yuhu, the chocolate milk stout brewed in collaboration with River-Sea, while learning about the process to make it. There will be a 45 min break time between 30 min tours for browsing/shopping at either location, enjoying a snack from Odd BBQ located inside Ono Brewing, or stopping by Dano's Granola, which will be open before, during, and after the scheduled tour time.
The 2.5 hour "date night" experience ($32 per person) includes all of the above plus an additional 30 minutes at River-Sea chocolate factory to decorate your own two milk chocolate bars with natural ingredients (rose petals, Himalayan salt, spices, nuts and seeds, coconut flakes, cherries, strawberries, etc). Let your creative self indulge in a delicious and artistic experience. You may want to give your chocolate bars as gifts, or you may want to eat them all yourself."
