Thomas Jefferson High School Takes Top U.S. News Award

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria Virginia has been named by the U.S. News & World Report as the best high school in Virginia. The high school was ranked first for National Rankings and ranked third for the Best STEM High School. U.S. News & World Report ranks schools based on how best they serve their students. Thomas Jefferson was awarded based on six key factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, undeserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.
