Alexandria Farmer’s Market Now Open With Restrictions

Farmers' Markets in Alexandria will begin to operate on the new phase reopening effective May 30 2020. The markets have been operating on a curbside online order pickups but will now move into including on site transactions. Del Ray Farmers' Market, Four Mile Run Farmers' Market, Old Town Farmers' market and Old Town North Farmers' Markets will now operate under new guidelines which will include:-

• wearing of face coverings by vendors, staff and buyers
• vendors should wear gloves and use enhanced cleaning and sanitizing procedures
• barriers should be placed between vendors and customers so as to prevent handling of products by customers
• vendors and buyers should practice social distancing
• no food preparation to be done
• no on site dining

The Farmers' Markets are urged to provide some options of per-order and curbside pickup where necessary.
