Aubrey Nesbitt is a native of Northern Virginia who attended Virginia Commonwealth University. Kingstowne features a variety of neighborhoods with different housing options, including townhouses, condos and single family residences. Locally this area is serviced by the Kingstowne shopping center. Right after the shopping center there is a trail that goes along a man made lake and leads directly to a neighborhood. Geese can be seen in the lake and on the trail.
Along the trail there is a gazebo that offers seating and a view. The trail is paved and can support most bikes. On the weekends the trail is used by runners. This is a great place to get out and get some exercise at.

Right alongside of the George Washington Parkway is a trail that runs parallel. Along the road nearby neighborhoods have outlets that connect to the trail. The trail has slopes, footbridges, and wide open fields. Along the way there are great places to participate in activities like fishing, picnicing, and ultimate frisbee.
The trail starts at the tip of Old Town Alexandria and goes until Mount Vernon. This is a great place to take a dog to and let him off the leash. Also this is a good place to go for a walk with the family. There are several public tables outside and BBQ pits ready for use.

Northern Virginia is the host to deer that occasionally run from wooded areas to back yards and roads. Usually there are no deer crossing signs. With an appropriate distance the deer are not dangerous. The deer occasionally just show up in different areas of town and continue with their business.

The waterfront is a host to a variety of street performances. Within walking distance of this entertainment are several condo's and neighborhoods. The waterfront near the Torpedo Factory is a great place for the family. The entertainment ranges from magic, music, portraits, balloons, etc.
495 passes through Springfield, Alexandria, Annandale, Merrifield, Idylwood, Tysons Corner, Bethesda, DC, and New Carrollton. This road is a connector to several commuters' daily work routine. There are lots of neighborhoods near 495. Also this road gives access to countless businesses.
