The historic Swann Daingerfield building is located in the heart of Old Town at 706 Prince Street. The building was built in 1802 by Thomas Swann and was later sold to Henry Daingerfield in 1832. After several years of being the home of a hospital and  student housing, the building was converted into a condominium in the 1970s and has since been a private residence for over 50 years. The Potomac Yard Park is a 23.4 acre neighborhood park located at 2501 Potomac Ave in Alexandria. The park was designed and constructed through a partnership between the Alexandria City Council and Pulte Homes.
