Fairfax County Strategic Planning Enters The Think Tank

A series of meetings are underway with public participation in Fairfax County that will address the long term strategic planning of the county. Many people gathered at a cafeteria to attend the first of the county’s strategic plan meetings across the county to make a plan for Fairfax County in years to come. The first set of these meetings began in February and this was the second series of such meetings. This set of meetings will end this December when the planners hand the plan over to the Board of Supervisors for finalization. Continue reading

Things You Should Know About National Firearms Museum

National Firearms Museum is located at the NRA Headquarters Building in Fairfax County, Virginia. Approximated 2,500 guns are displayed in 15,000 square feet. The NRA National Firearms Museum is operated by the Museums Division of the National Rifle Association of America (NRA), with partial funding provided by the NRA Foundation. It was established in 1935 at the old NRA Headquarters in Washington DC and moved to its current location in 1998. Continue reading
