Westwood Country Club for Everyone Even Kids

Established in 1954, Westwood Country Club in Northern Virginia caters to a variety of dining and recreational activities for members and their guests. The traditional course is created with bent grass fairways lined by mature hardwoods, strategic bunkers, ponds and creeks. PGA Professional Glenn Brown holds personalized classes using modern technology.sometimes i golf.. Tennis 4 Har-Tru and 6 Deco Turf Courts make up Westwood’s tennis facility. Tennis Director Joni Hannah, a nationally ranked professional and 2 assistant professionals offer group and individual classes and programs for all levels. Fitness 2,700 square feet of Westwood Fitness Center is located in the main Clubhouse offering an array of cardiovascular equipment, treadmills, bikes, elliptical, weight machines and a studio. Certified Personal Trainers are available as well as a variety of classes to training programs. Pool Westwood houses an Olympic size pool that includes a diving well and a child wading pool and a pool snack bar. The resident swim team of children ages 5 to 18 always participates in the Dominion Country Club Swim League. Exciting events and activities and classes are provided for by the staff. Dining Casual Dining, Intimate Dining and Special events are offered in respective dining rooms all created specially. Executive Chef Jason Parker manages the cuisine and always presents a delectable menu for lunch and dinner. Kids Club For children between 6 months to 12 years of age , to have fun while parents want to enjoy a game of tennis or take up a golf lesson or to just simply enjoy a quiet dinner. Gunston Hall Plantation in Fairfax County

It is now owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia and administered by a Board of Regents appointed from the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. Gunston Hall is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm except holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. And special events are showcased throughout the year. Guided tours are offered of the mansion and the 550 acres of ground. The hiking trails are open till 6:00pm.
