Motivation for the Holiday Season
If you're looking into your crystal ball and see waddlesome sloth in your future, fear not. The Thanksgiving meal may have added some pounds, but the Christmas feasting doesn't have to.
A way to avoid the depressing feeling of holiday over eating is to beat it to the punch. I suggest heading over to Gold's Gym and becoming a member. Use the link provided here and investigate for yourself. The rewards will be apparent immediately when you walk in for your first work out. Simply arriving and walking through the door is the first step, as the sign on their front door will prove, to a better you.
Since joining, I've seen many changes in myself. I feel better and look better. I've also been going through a recovery period from injuries, so if this has held you back, no need. The hot tub and sauna will provide assistance in this area.
The people I have seen from day one have kept me going as well. I see the same grouping of people on a daily basis. When the doors open at 4:25 ish in the morning, we scoot in and get to work. As you can see from the link, my gym here in Alexandria likes to open earlier than the schedule suggests. They're also open late enough to get in that work out any time of day. Pros & Cons of Staging
Pros
- Staging provides buyers with a visual of what it would be like to live in a property.
- When you make your property look neat, attractive, spacious and well maintained, you set it apart from the exact same type of home that is vacant.
- The properties features will be highlighted and attract buyers more.
- 80% of buyers will first start their search online. The first property photos will be the first impression on if it is worth visiting. A well staged property will be more photogenic.
- The cost of staging will be time, effort and money.
- Living in a staged home will mean you need to essentially need to keep the property look picture perfect. This maybe challenging over time.
- Depending on your home, staging may not be necessary. A fairly small town home or condo is likely going to sell for the same price with or with out staging. Staging a larger property are often well worth the investment.

Do you live around mountains? Is seeing a mountain range just another part of your day to day life? Do the mountains seem to just exist and pass through your day without any notice?
I lived the majority of my life in the mid west. Out where I laid my head down for the night, no mountains existed. Seeing the majesty of mountains had always been a special treat for me. A few years ago I had the chance to travel out to Las Vegas, Nevada for a friend's wedding. The visual wonders that surrounds this tourist site were absolutely amazing to me and I will never forget them. I loved gawking at the mountains even when the plane was flying over them on the way back home.
This past weekend I had the chance to go out with some family members who live in Front Royal. This beautiful little town is close enough to reach by car and is the primary reason I moved eastward. We made plans to go out to dinner and watch the house band at a local establishment.
When I reached about half way through my journey, the mountains were painting themselves in my windshield and starting to become visible also out the side windows. The visual beauty that these mountains present will never get old. I'm in the twilight of my life and still these get me excited every time I see them.
When I finally arrived at the outskirts of Front Royal, the signs familiar to me since childhood were passing me by and I found myself completely surrounded by the beauty and majesty of mountains. I drove to the destination, we enjoyed an amazing evening and I headed back to my hotel.
When in the morning I awoke, I smiled stepping out into the chilly air of northern Virginia. The sun was coming up over the horizon and the mountain range was looking as gorgeous as ever. The only feeling I had then was that of sorrow. I had to leave. I'll be back in a few days, but the thought of leaving was not fun. The mountains have a way of making life meaningful and real for me. I appreciate living close enough to gaze upon them and I look forward to returning very soon.
