Dowden Terrace is a community of single-family houses in Alexandria City County. The community is served by John Adams Elementary School, Francis C. Hammond Middle School and T.C. Williams High School. Dowden Terrace was built around 1946. This is a walkable neighborhood. Dowden Terrace is close to Alexandria West. The area is served by Dowden Terrace Park & Chambliss Park and not far from N Van Dorn Street and King Street.
