Marshall Dantzler Of Chantilly Honored By National Agricultural Statistics Service

Marshall Dantzler, a Chantilly resident and longtime member of the Centreville-Chantilly Rotary Club, was honored April 21 by the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). He was one of three former employees inducted into its Hall of Fame, which recognizes those whose work has had a lasting impact on agricultural statistics and the service NASS provides. Reston’s 1901 Group Acquired By Leidos

Reston, Virginia-based Leidos Holdings has completed its $215 million acquisition of Reston-based IT services company 1901 Group. 1901 Group’s 400 employees will join the group as a result of the acquisition. 1901 Group was founded in 2009. The company’s name is a reference to the year 1901 when automation of the assembly line was invented — factory floor principles it says are the foundation of its IT enterprise modernization services.
