Northern Virginia Family Service Road to Independence Gala was held on May 10 at the Hilton McLean in Tysons Corner. The gala was attended by Northern Virginia government officials and business leaders along with 600 people. $695,000 were raised through annual fundraising dinner and auction. The proceeds will support NVFS signature programs that provide housing, food, job training, education and mental health counseling to Northern Virginia families who are on the road to independence.
