Cornerstones assisted 1,000 Reston and Herndon families struggling to make ends meet this holiday season. For a total of 36 hours the week of Nov. 16 through Fri. Weekend Food For Kids Program Continues During Pandemic

Assistance League of Northern Virginia's Weekend Food for Kids program is still helping food-insecure elementary school children and their families this summer. The program was modified because of COVID-19. The organization has been distributing grocery store gift cards to four of the six schools that usually receive the bags of weekend food since mid-March.
