Lidl, twice-ranked a Top-10 U.S. Grocer by Food & Wine Magazine, has commenced construction at Lorton’s Liberty Market. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday to celebrate the milestone. According to Vienna Police, groundbreaking for the new Vienna Police Headquarters will take place Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. Town of Vienna Mayor Linda Colbert, Town Council Members, Police Chief James Morris, and police personnel will attend the ceremony. The memorial is named Turning Point Suffragist Memorial and its “the only women’s national suffragist memorial in the country" according to memorial association Executive Director Pat Wirth.
