Reston To Welcome New HQ Of IT Contractor Peraton
Herndon, Virginia-based Peraton, formed in 2017 and which has made several large government IT contractor acquisitions since, is relocating to a larger corporate headquarters in Reston. Peraton signed a lease at 1875 Explorer Street in Reston Town Center and expects to relocate its corporate offices by September 2022 after construction is completed for the custom-designed space. McLean, Virginia-based government contractor Booz Allen Hamilton will acquire Herndon, Virginia-based Liberty IT Solutions LLC for $725 million. Liberty IT Solutions has about 600 employees, with other operations in Exton, Pennsylvania, and Melbourne, Florida. Its work includes IT modernization projects for government agencies and in the health care industry, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, expanding Booz Allen’s growth in health care consulting.
