School of Rock which is the largest multi location music world has officially opened its new location in Old Town Alexandria. The music school which has more than 200 locations worldwide opened its Alexandria location at 3260 Duke Street on Saturday May 4, 2019. School of Rock was founded in 1998 by Paul Green, a Philadelphia music teacher whose mission was to teach young musicians not through scales, chords and beats but through playing in a band.
