Block.one To Set New Headquarters In Arlington And Create 170 New Jobs

Block.one, a provider of blockchain software, is set to establish its headquarters in Arlington County. According to Gov. Ralph Northam, Block.one will invest $10 million for the project which will bring about 170 new jobs over a period of three years. Virginia had successfully competed with Washington, D.C. for this million-dollar project.

Institute For Defense Analyses Moves To Potomac Yard

The Institute for Defense Analyses broke ground for the construction of its new headquarters in Potomac Yard. The nonprofit corporation which runs three federally funded research and development centers will be located at 730 East Glebe Road, a little over a block away from the future Potomac Yard Metro Station and the future Virginia Tech Innovation Campus. The new headquarters will feature 370,000 square foot of conference center, conference room space, on site cafe, health and fitness center and improved collaboration space and design to meet evolving security requirement.
