Del Ray is not far from Crystal City and Pentagon City in Arlington and Potomac Yard in Alexandria VA. Del Ray is also jokingly called Well Ray by some due to a large community of holistic health businesses.
Several parts of Del Ray was established between the 1980's to the 1950's. Despite being so close to the urban area, Del Ray managed to retain its small town charm.
Due to Del Ray's small town charm, Del Ray is an interesting place to look for brick duplex, detached homes, and garden-style condominiums.
