Old Town Virginia is a historic area of Alexandria. Old Town was a busy port during the Colonial, Revolutionary and Civil War times. Some of the more interesting historic elements of Old Town include, Gadsby's Tavern, a replica of George Washington's house, and Robert E. Lee's childhood home.
