Tysons To Have Mass Vaccination Site Next Week

A large-scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic is opening in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Tuesday. The vaccination center is at the former Lord & Taylor store at Tysons Corner Center, at 1961 Chain Bridge Road, in Tysons, the Fairfax County government said in a statement Friday. The site will have the capacity to vaccinate 3,000 people a day, as vaccine supplies allow, Board of Supervisors chairman Jeff McKay said in the statement. Continue reading

Volunteers Needed In Fairfax County To Help With COVID-19 Vaccinations

Interested in helping with the COVID-19 vaccination effort? If you are — and can pass a criminal background check — you could help with Inova Stonebridge’s vaccination site in Alexandria. Volunteers are needed daily for at least the next six weeks to help clinical and logistical support teams. Requirements include being 18 or older, fluent in English, the ability to stand for extended periods of time, and the ability to push an adult in a wheelchair. Continue reading
