Old Town Historic Property The George Is Set To Open As An Airbnb In Alexandria

The George, a newly renovated historic property in Old Town with ties to President Washington is set to open as an Airbnb property in mid-July. The property located at 506 Cameron Street was originally built in 1815 with its kitchen reportedly a part of George Washington's property at 508 Cameron Street. The property which was purchased and renovated by residents Steven and Martha Peterson features 8 bedrooms each with their own bathroom,  living room, dining room, kitchen and patio. In addition to being used as an Airbnb the property will serve as a venue for the hosting of cooking classes with chefs from local restaurants.
