The Burke Centre Festival is going to take place on Sept. 7-8, 2019. It is one of the biggest festivals in Northern Virginia taking place this weekend. This annual event has been around for more than 40 years and will be held for two days. The Burke Center Festival features dozens of family activities, live entertainment, and music, all with free admission. All events will take place at the Burke Centre Conservancy Grounds.

The Burke Centre Festival is the Burke Centre’s signature event. The festivities at the Burke Center Festival will include arts and crafts show, karaoke, fire and rescue displays, live bands, dance, entertainment, roving characters, interactive puppet and wildlife shows, face painting, caricature artist, amusement rides, pony rides, hypnotist show, basketball toss, midway-style games, community booths, giveaways and drawings, wine garden, food vendors and much more.
There will also be multiple foods and beverage vendors in attendance at the festival, and an after-hours wine garden will be available for adults. For the comfort of guests, the festival provides free shuttle service along the Burke Centre Parkway, and a nursing moms privacy tent.
Festival hours are Saturday from 9:30 am to 5 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. The flag-raising ceremony opens the festival each year, 9:30 AM, with the Burke VFW & Boy Scout Troop 1345. The Conservancy Festival Grounds are located at 6060 Burke Centre Parkway in Burke. The Festival will take place rain or shine.
