The fitness center at Thomas Jefferson Community Center
Work out-- Thomas Jefferson center has a spacious fitness center with all the equipment you would need for a complete workout. These include bikes, elliptical, stair machines, rowing machines, and a variety of weights/lifting machines, and even have personal trainers. They also offer yoga and dance classes on certain days.
Get sporty -- the community center has four full basketball courts where you can have a game of pickup basketball going, a half-court, tennis courts, volleyball, pickleball, soccer, and indoor tracks. There is also some pool tables, table tennis tables, and
Let the kids play- the community center has a playground for pre-school and school-age children complete with swings, monkey bars, slides, a small clubhouse, and a ride-on dinosaur.
Roller skating-- most Saturday nights from October to March, Thomas Jefferson Community Center offers roller skating for families from 6.30- 9 pm for a nominal fee.
Get Arty --the center also has an Arts Studio where works of pottery, photography, jewelry, and woodworking workshops are held.
Swimming-- the rec center has a huge swimming pool which is divided into specific areas for fast, medium and slow swim speeds. There is also a section for people who want to do other activities like water aerobics.

Thomas Jefferson Community Center is open from Monday to Friday from 6 am to 10 pm, on Saturdays, 8 am to 6 pm, and on Sundays 1 to 6 pm.
