TJ Students Trying To Launch A Liquid-Fueled Rocket To The Edge Of Space

A group of 26 students at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJ), which calls itself Project Caelus, successfully performed a “cold flow test” on September 13 in their efforts to launch a rocket to the edge of Earth’s atmosphere. IT Job Fair For Women In DC Area To Be Held Virtually

More than 40 companies with D.C.-area IT jobs to fill will take part in a virtual job fair on Thursday hosted by trade association Women in Technology.  The job fair will feature companies including Amazon, Capital One, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Accenture, and Geico. The event is sponsored by the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority. The aim of the job fair is specifically to connect women technology professionals with roles in STEM-based fields in the D.C. metro area. Continue reading
