Leah Ning Of Herndon Wins L. Ron Hubbard’s Writers of the Future Contest
Leah Ning of Herndon has been recognized as one of twelve "writer winners" for her entry, “Yellow and Pink” in this year's international competition, the L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest. Ning is a Boeing programmer by day and author by night. In addition to the Writers of the Future Contest, a second contest, Illustrators of the Future, was also held with twelve winners selected by greats in the arts. Chantilly High Junior Proposes Graphene To Be Used As Protective Mask
Social distancing has affected people of all ages in different ways. While many teenagers are passing time on social media and streaming sites, some are using the time to search for solutions for the COVID-19 pandemic. Parnika Saxena of Chantilly is a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
