The Potomac Yard Park is a 23.4 acre neighborhood park located at 2501 Potomac Ave in Alexandria. The park was designed and constructed through a partnership between the Alexandria City Council and Pulte Homes. The park features picnic tables and pathways with ADA accessibility, outdoor stage area for the hosting of special events, Stormwater Management Ponds, Walking/Bicycle trails and passive seating areas with historical interpretations. Sports fanatics can enjoy park facilities such athletic fields, basketball courts, tennis courts and volleyball courts. There is a playground for kids to enjoy which is ADA accessible. Why Goat Hill Park In Alexandria?

Goat Hill Park is a 2.5 acres park which is located at 33 Kennedy Street in Alexandria. The small park was dedicated to the City of Alexandria in 1953 and has since been adopted by the Warwick Village Citizens' Association. The park which is located within the Warwick Village residential neighborhood features three different areas: a playground with standard equipment and rubberized surface which is perfect for the kids from ages 5-10 to enjoy, a natural wooded area and an open lawn that is used for relaxation and blanket picnics. Why Chinquapin Park and Recreational Center?

Chinquapin Park is a 52.89 acres park located at 3210 King Street. The park which was named for the Chinquapin Oak Tree was once known as Chinquapin Village, a war housing development which was built by the government for Torpedo Factory workers. Even though the area has now been developed into a park there are still areas which are reminiscent of the Chinquapin neighborhood.  In 1961 the City of Alexandria acquired the property and proposed the building of a mini amusement park. Tide Lock Park is located at 1 Canal Center Plaza Alexandria. The 4.68 acres park features a biking trail as well as riverfront seating area which makes it a part of the linear park system along Alexandria's waterfront. Tide Lock Park not only provides residents with an environment to hang out while enjoying the waterfront, it also hosts an important artifact at the Park, an old historic 7 mile canal which was used to carry boats with coal. Rivergate City Park is located at 2 Montgomery Street in Old Town Alexandria. The 2.84 acres park is located on the banks of the Potomac River which makes the park a part of the system of linear parks along Alexandria's waterfront. Rivergate Cit Park is closely located near Oronoco Bay Park and Montgomery Park with many restaurants and residential buildings in close proximity. Residents living within the proximity of the area visit the park to sit and enjoy the scenic views from the waterfront.
