Old Town Pool is located a 2.71 acres multipurpose facility located at 1609 Cameron Street in Alexandria. The area features a 25 yard lap pool with diving well and an handicap accessible training pool combined with a basketball court, picnic area and a playground for the kids to enjoy before or after swimming. The Old Town Pool is adjacent to the Durant Recreation Center located to the east and Buchanan Park located to the north. This pool is the only one located in Old Town Alexandria. The pool and other facilities is open to the public all the summer. 


Pohick Bay Regional Park is a regional park on Pohick Bay of the Potomac River, in Fairfax County, northern Virginia. The park is located on State Route 242, north of Mason Neck State Park. It is protected and operated by the NOVA Parks agency of Northern Virginia, formerly the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority. Given below are some attractions which the park has to offer.
Ben Brenam Park is located at 400 Brenman Park Drive in West End Alexandria on the east end of the former U.S. Army base at Cameron Station. The park is named in the honor of the late Colonel Ben Brenman, a US-Army retiree and an Alexandria Community activist. He helped in the acquisition of the land and assisted in scores of projects relating to the park and in the enhancement of the lives of the citizens in Alexandria. Ben Brenman Park is a 60 acre open space perfect for children and adults.
Montgomery Park is a 2-acre square block park located at 901 N. Royal Street in Old Town Alexandria. The park is currently under the control of the Old Town North Community Association. The park has undergone several improvement projects as the Association aims to create a park that can be enjoyed by the entire public.
