The Rotary Club of Alexandria has announced that it has raised $75,000 at its annual Taste for Giving. The proceeds from the event will go towards funding of more than 35 grants to non profit organizations in the Alexandria community which will advance literacy for children, adults and to improve the lives of children, youth and seniors with special needs. Each year the Rotary Club of Alexandria in partnership with local restaurants host an annual Taste For Giving with dozens of volunteers and associates of non profit organizations giving back to this worthy cause. Grants will be issued at the club's annual Contribution's Day Luncheon in June 2020.
