City Of Alexandria To Maintain One High School With Connected Network

The Alexandria City Public Schools Board has voted for maintaining one high school in the City while making the high school experience a connected network of sites and programs. The decision to keep the one high school with the connected network will help to solve the high school capacity issues being faced in the public school system. The decision was made following a major exercise which was undertaken by the School Board. Superintendent of Schools Dr Gregory C Hutchings Jr has stated that" the decision ensures all students across Alexandria will continue to have access to the wide variety of opportunities T.C. offers now and in the future". With one high school, students will have access to experience all that T.C. Williams offers while fully engaged in a high quality learning environment. The Minnie Howard Campus will be renovated and expansions done to accommodate additional 9th grade students. https://alexandrialivingmagazine.com/news/city-school-board-votes-for-one-high-school-connected-network/
